Approximately 200 people are diagnosed with MS in the US each week. There is no cure for this debilitating disease. My father, Barry Farnam, has battled MS for over 35 years and I am ready to fight for him and all who have MS. Help me fight and raise money for awareness and research to battle this disease.
Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease. But there is no cure.
The BFMS golf outing is put on each year by the The Velija Corporation. Visit their website to see how you can get involved.
