Steve Gabbert

As Vice President and Director of Construction of PREMIER’s Southwest division, Steve overlooks the day-to-day operations and financial well-being of projects under his supervision. Contract negotiations and management are under Steve’s watch along with overseeing construction plans. Steve takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of his responsibilities to strengthen relationships and to stay connected to progress.

Steve also creates and manages budgets across the board for all construction projects out of the Southwest division.

Professional Experience

High-profile clients that Steve partnered with include a South Korean-based automobile manufacturer, wherein Steve helped secure LEED Gold Certification for the construction of their new $200 million headquarters in Fountain Valley, CA. In addition, he helped construct the core, shell and site work for a 650,000 sq ft University Research Park project in Irvine, CA. He was also a key member of the construction team that built a $150 million, three-phase, 260,000 sq ft resort in Newport Beach, and most recently managed a notable tenant improvement for one of the world’s largest investment management organizations to create a modern, state-of-the- art, collaborative workspace. He has worked with organizations as varied as residential buildings, universities, historic sites and medical centers to luxury resorts and spas.

Steve is the chairman of the board of directors for the U.S. Green Building Council, Orange County Chapter, and also sits on the board for the Sustainability Council of Orage County
