(Iselin, Woodbridge County, NJ – October 24, 2016) – PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC, Bridge Development Partners, LLC and Borough of Carteret celebrated the groundbreaking of a new, state-of-the-art industrial warehouse in Carteret, New Jersey October 7, 2016.
New Jersey is a major economic catalyst for the eastern seaboard and the entire United States. In fact, industrial distribution companies look to the Garden State for funding as well as flexible and expansive facilities that will help their businesses grow.
In response, Bridge Development Partners, LLC has commissioned the construction of a new distribution warehouse. PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC will provide the strategic thinking and creative problem solving to make this vision a reality.
The new facility will be a 206,500 square-foot industrial building located at 900 Federal Boulevard in Carteret, New Jersey. It will be built on a 10-acre site located only a ½ mile away from New Jersey Turnpike Exit 12. Building tenants will also benefit from the building’s close proximity to Newark Liberty International Airport (10 miles away), Port Newark (14 miles) and New York City (24 miles).
More than that, businesses will benefit from state programs such as the Grow NJ Assistance program—including an incentive of $4,000 per new job created per year, for up to 10 years. Bonus credits of $1,500 per year may be earned based on meeting other criteria as well. On top of that, construction material, office and business equipment, furnishings, fixtures and more can be purchased tax-free per the state’s Urban Enterprise Zone exemption.
"New Jersey clearly wants businesses to do well and that inspires us," says PREMIER Vice President Peter Stavrinou. "We know how important this facility will be for investors and tenants alike. We pledge our 24/7 commitment to the design and construction of this state-of-the-art facility – as we do with every project we undertake. Our mission always includes increasing ROI and delivering peace of mind.”
This dedication extends throughout all parties involved in design and construction team: Jim Kelly is the project manager and field superintendent from PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC. Cornerstone Architects, Ltd. will deliver architectural services. Jones Lang LaSalle is representing the building. M&T Bank is providing the financing.
Tenants will be able to pull from a large workforce from both New Jersey and New York. These workers will have the benefit of spending their days in an aesthetically elegant, functionally dynamic warehouse, featuring 36-foot clear-height warehouse spaces, a parking lot with 125 parking spaces for cars and 45 truck trailer stalls. Safety features include the installation of an ESFR sprinkler system.
