(Itasca, IL – July 27, 2015) – PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC is proud to announce that Steven Gabbert will lead PREMIER's Southwest division.
Gabbert spent the last 11 years leading successful construction initiatives in Southern California—specializing in the Los Angeles Metro region.
He pioneered the position of Director of Sustainability at one of California's most respected builders. In this role, he differentiated the builder as an environmentally responsible, resource-efficient organization. In addition, he enhanced the firm's business performance, marketability and long-term health. Ultimately, he created value for the company, its clients and the community.
High-profile clients that Gabbert partnered with included a South Korean-based automobile manufacturer, wherein Gabbert helped secure LEED Gold Certification for the construction of their new $200 million headquarters in Fountain Valley, CA. In addition, he helped construct the core, shell and site work for a 650,000 sq ft University Research Park project in Irvine, CA. He was also a key member of the construction team that built a $150 million, three-phase, 260,000 sq ft resort in Newport Beach, and most recently managed a notable tenant improvement for one of the world’s largest investment management organizations to create a modern, state-of-the-art, collaborative workspace. He has worked with organizations as varied as residential buildings, universities, historic sites and medical centers to luxury resorts and spas. No matter the challenge or scope of assignment, Gabbert prides himself in working closely with all of his clients and maximizing every opportunity.
Steven’s comprehensive understanding of project, office and field management aspects of the construction process make him a valuable asset to the PREMIER team. We are fortunate to have him with us and pleased to have him lead our California team.
Gabbert is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional, a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor, and a LEED Accredited Professional with Specialty. He is the Chairman of the United States Green Building Council, Orange County Chapter and also sits on the Board of Directors for the Sustainability Council of Orange County.
