(Itasca, IL – August 5, 2016) – Christopher Kiziak is the new senior project manager at our PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC Midwest office. He is completely focused on seeing a client's vision from kickoff through completion and has helped build hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial space. Kiziak's creative problem solving techniques and dedication make him a great addition to PREMIER.
"I enjoy working with innovative, interesting clients in and around Chicago," he says. "PREMIER is the number one company in the area, in my opinion, and I’m excited to join a team that does such top-flight work."
Kiziak last worked as a project manager with a major general contractor in Chicago, where he bid, awarded and managed subcontracts and purchase orders. He reviewed submittals and requests for information, conducted subcontractor meetings and prepared and maintained schedules. His follow-through and professionalism helped forge strong client relationships.
Prior to that, Kiziak worked in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs for leading construction companies and general contractors. His duties ranged from working shoulder to shoulder with teammates in the field to making sales calls and giving presentations. However, he felt most fulfilled by contributing at a high level as a project manager. Keeping projects on schedule and on budget are his specialties.
“Christopher's experience in northern Illinois is invaluable,” says Brian Paul, Executive Vice President of PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC. “He understands the unique needs of clients in this area, has worked with the construction community for nearly three decades and has delivered increased peace of mind and ROI many times over. Our clients are already reaping the benefits of partnering with him."
Highlights of Kiziak's career include building major medical facilities and hospitals in the south and north suburbs of Chicago. As a project manager, he also led the charge for several speculative industrial buildings over the years. Most recently, he ensured that large distribution facilities (more than 200,000 square feet) were completed and met the elevated standards of a global leader in logistics.
Kiziak is proud to have been a part of the economic growth and industrial boom of northern Illinois. He lives in the Chicago suburb of Oak Lawn, Illinois with his wife. He has two daughters: one in college and a recent college graduate.
