As a key component of the University of Illinois at Chicago Hyde Park renovation initiative, the project spearheaded the construction of two prominent building shells. These structures house Clarke’s Hyde Park, a well-established diner that's become synonymous with Chicago’s culinary scene, alongside Rajun Cajun, a fast-casual eatery specializing in soul food. Notably, Rajun Cajun remained operational throughout the neighboring renovation endeavor, showcasing resilience amid the transformation. Following the finalization of exterior renovations, attention shifted to comprehensive interior refurbishments within the restaurant spaces, marking a pivotal phase in the project's progression.
