The major expansion project at Sumitomo Drive Technologies in Glendale Heights, Illinois, is designed to meet the growing demand for their Midwest-manufactured gearmotors. The facility’s size will more than double to approximately 82,000 square feet, featuring a state-of-the-art modular crane building for seamless integration between assembly and distribution. Additional enhancements include new docks, doors, on-site parking, and updated landscaping. These improvements will increase inventory space, broaden the product line, and enhance lead times and operational efficiency.
